    HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

     

    The Production team are the owners responsible for the successful management and execution of all projects across the Publishing organization. As Senior Project Manager you will lead the Project Management team and individual projects, working closely with department leads to ensure projects meet appropriate goals, scoping, and execution. This role acts as a point of contact for publishing initiatives and the publishing leadership in particular. You will manage a team of 2, with additional resources added as the portfolio grows.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communications, organization, and accountability across all departments.
    • Manage a team of Project Managers across various Publishing disciplines and projects
    • Own the development and communications of both near and long-term scheduling.
    • Help make informed decisions in conjunction with team leads on work methods, development pipeline, priorities, and available people.
    • Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals.
    • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure projects are on track, action items delivered and schedules are accurate.
    • Work with leads to determine time and people necessary to see projects through to completion.
    • Motivate and support the team to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.

     

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

     

    • Experience tracking a complex project and providing insight and influence into how to deliver more effectively
    • Strong project and people management skills (PMP, Agile or other certification a plus)
    • Calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative – the ability to make sense of the ambiguous
    • Strong communicator
    • Organized and highly motivated
    • Can bring ‘order’ from chaos
    • Excellent project management and communication skills, ability to work across multiple business units and stakeholders
    • Passion for videogames preferably in MMO or RPG genre
