    We are looking for an experienced line manager with excellent linguist capabilities & great people skills that is overseeing our French localisation work for RuneScape and other titles. You'll be responsible for managing our team of French Localisation Specialists - translation, testing & community engagement - and will be scheduling & organising their work as well as evaluating the delivered quality. You'll be a strong motivator and great communicator, have at least 3 years of experience in translation & testing computer games, ideally MMORPGs.


    Your responsibilities include:

    • Day to day management of the French localisation team
    • Organise the daily work schedule
    • Support, mentor & grow the team members
    • Providing translation & testing support
    • Vendor quality management for French outsourcing operations
    • Reporting French project status to Localisation Management
    • Working closely with the other Localisation Team Leads and Localisation Manager to advance efficiency, recommend tools, identify new opportunities, plan the localisation of new products
    • Create a rewarding working environment for the localisation team members
    • Quality tracking & management of team members
    • Manage the community engagement by the team for the French version of RS


    • Outstanding French and English written/spoken skills
    • Degree in translation or equivalent
    • Excellent Project and People Management skills
    • Excellent knowledge of the games industry
    • Previous translation experience - ideally with games
    • Experience or good understanding of localisation QA
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and priorities
    • Previous line management experience
    • Metrics driven reporting & analysis
